MALCOLM EATON Enterprises conducts a variety of fund-raising and awareness events throughout the year with the two largest, the annual Pork Chop Dinner and Car Show and Golf ‘N Games held in the summer.
18th Annual Pork Chop Dinner & Car Show
May 20, MALCOLM EATON Enterprises, 570 West Lamm Road, Freeport IL.
Serving for dinner 11 a.m.-3 p.m.; car show 8 a.m-3 p.m.
This popular event is known in the area as the unofficial kickoff to summer and with good reason. Where else can you enjoy an incredible grilled pork chop dinner with all the trimmings plus feast your eyes on classic cars from every era? Last year, guests devoured a a record 1,623 dinners and 125 cars, trucks and motorcycles representing a century of vehicles entered the show. The 1,500 people who attended agree – we have great grills! Come join the fun this year!

12th Annual Golf ‘N Games
June 30, Freeport Country Club, 1614 South Park Boulevard, Freeport IL
9 a.m. tee time, Chicken Little Drop 5 p.m.
Look for the best a golf outing has to offer as Golf ‘N Games returns with a new look in a new location. The Golf ‘N Games Open, our 18-hole scramble, will feature the best parts of the traditional Golf ‘N Games. The Shoot Out and Putting Contest will now be hole contests with golfers having the opportunity to qualify for cash at the end of the round. The Chicken Little Drop also continues with even bigger prizes as does the silent auction. It should be a great day!

Texas Hold ‘Em
April 20, Forest Hills Lodge, 1601 West Lane Road, Loves Park IL
MALCOLM EATON Enterprises conducts several Texas Hold ‘Em fund-raisers in the Rockford area throughout the year. The organization holds a charitable games license from the state of Illinois which allows it to legally sponsor the activity. A Rockford-based consultant organizes these events and handles publicity while MALCOLM EATON volunteers operate the bank and dispense chips. It’s a low-cost and easy way for the organization to earn money for its programs. If you like Texas Hold ‘Em, please join us at one of these events!
Sabbath Sunday
March 24-25
This awareness celebration is held in conjunction with the faith community of northwest Illinois to recognize the needs and abilities of children and adults with disabilities and their families. Congregations are encouraged to welcome and include these individuals in their churches. Since the local Sabbath/Sunday observance began more than 10 years ago, it has grown to include more than 30 churches which distributed more than 5,000 bulletin inserts last year.
