COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT

Training individuals to perform skills that will one day aid them in securing their own job within the community is the goal of MALCOLM EATON Enterprises' Community Employment Program. Hands-on work experience at our production center in packaging, light assembly, food service, custodial contracts and lawn care is the basis of the program. In addition, interactive classes in team work, employer expectations, and problem solving are taught to give the individual the overall skills necessary to work independently within the community.

Job Development:
A job evaluation takes place at the MALCOLM EATON Center to discover interests, skills, and desires of the individual.

Community Placement:
On-site, short-term job coaching by MALCOLM EATON Enterprises' staff guide the individual and employer through the orientation of the new employee, develop an established work routine, and assist with specific job skills training.

Supported Employment:
Continued, long-term support services for all individuals whom competitve employment has not traditionally occurred, is provided by MALCOLM EATON Enterprises' staff. With staff, individuals are able to maintain successful performance of job duties expected by employers as the individual grows and changes with the job.

Our consumer focused, state-of-the-art program assures your company will have a trained, experienced and dedicated employee on their staff. Individuals receive increased independence, greater self-esteem and recognition within the community by working for your company.
