Through the MALCOLM EATON Enterprises Community Employment Program, staff assist individuals with disabilities who have secured community jobs. We coach at the jobsite to ensure employees get off to a good start and stay on track.
Why It Works
The individuals who succeed in Community Employment will acquire knowledge from a host of training in other programs that prepare them for outside employment. Hands-on work experience at our manufacturing center in packaging and light assembly combines with interactive classes in teamwork, employer expectations, and problem solving to give people the skills necessary to work independently within the community.
The result: Businesses gain trained, experienced and dedicated employees for their staff and may reap tax benefits from hiring a person with a disability. Plus, the individual increases their independence, self-esteem and recognition within the community by working for your company.
